Dehradun is cool and green city of Uttranchal.Dehradun is located in the foot hills of majestic Himalayas.Ganga and Yamuna flow through it.Dehradun is an attractive place to visit for tourist. Lots of tourist come here to visit all famous places and pilgrimage places.Sikh from all over the India come to visit Durbar Guru Ram Rai. The Sikh pilgrimage in Dehradun is a much awaited incident for the devoted Sikh community.Many religious places are established here.The Sikh pilgrimage is due to the 'dera' or camp established by Ram Rai  in Dehradun 
 
It is said that,Guru Ram Rai is the son of Guru Har Rai.Guru Har Rai was the 7th Guru of the Sikh religious in line.In Dehradun Sikh pilgrimage contains a high position in  religious excursions due to the famous job done by Guru Ram Rai. Ram Rai has established Gurdwara in Dehradun.Now,it is known as Guru Ram Rai Durbar.The sikh  pilgrimage walk around this Gurdwara.This is the sikh religious temple.The word 'Gurdwara' transliterates into 'doorway of the Guru'. Ram Rai Durbar contains Sikh religious book named Guru Granth Sahib.

Nishan Sahib: Nishan Sahib is a triangular orange flag with a Sikh emblem in the middle of the flag. The Sikh emblem is known as Khanda.
Langar: Durbar Guru Ram Rai is the Sikh pilgrimage.In this Gurudwara a large dining room are well equipped.Meals are served for Devoted person
Darbar Sahib: Darbar Sahib is a hall which contains the Sikh holy book.
